The NUMBER ONE tip to save you money on your CEU’s is TIMING. If you choose to do online CEUs and your state allows you to do online CEUS to satisfy your physical therapy license requirement then read on!
THE KEY: PURCHASE THE ANNUAL CEU SUBSCRIPTION JUST BEFORE YOUR LICENSE EXPIRES!
The key is to make sure you purchase your online yearly CEU subscription so you can use half the year to get your current PT license CEU credit, and then wait till your license expires, and use the next half of the year to complete you new license CEU requirements. For example:
My California PT license expires on 7/1/17.
I will wait to purchase an online annual unlimited CEU subscription until 3/1/17 (it can really be any date that is slightly before and after when your license will end) this means that:
From 3/1/17 to 7/1/17 I can complete CEUs toward my current PT license requirement.
From 7/1/17 to 3/1/18: I can use this same subscription (note: you have to do different online CEU classes) to complete my new 2 year California PT license.
Essentially for the price of 1 CEU annual subscription, I get 4 years of my professional license covered!
This savings is not a lot, but every little bit helps and maybe this savings can go toward one more monthly loan payment or to help get your children new shoes. But each step you take toward saving more means a step toward financial freedom for you and your future!
