PAY ONLY $20/MONTH or LESS FOR TONS OF CHANNELS:
My boyfriend and I recently came up with a simple and cost effective way to get tons of TV channels and only pay $20/month! We have happily used this method for 2 years!
Step 1: Purchase an AmazonBasics Ultra Thin Indoor TV Antenna – 50 Mile Range
There are many TV antennas on the market. We purchased the Amazon Basics Antenna to be safe and get the best reception for $27.99 with free shipping.
AmazonBasics Ultra Thin Indoor TV Antenna – 50 Mile Range
This antenna is simple and quick to install- just plug it in, mount it (we just layed it on a shelf), and scan for channels. It allows you to want national TV singals such as ABC, NBC, CBS, PBS, and more in addition to local TV channels for FREE- NO SUBSCRIPTION!!
Step 2: Visit SLING.com to get a free streaming device!
Sling is live TV package starting at $20/month that provides more than 30 channels including ESPN, AMC, HGTV, Disney, TNT, CNN ect.
For a 3 months prepaid ($20 per month so $60 total) Sling subscription, you can get currently (updated 3/15/17):
-
Free Roku Express or
-
50% off of Roku Premiere + : $50 (oringially $99)
We purchased at then time through sling the Roku 3 for 50% off which came with headphones for private listening and voice activated search (really helps with finding movies quickly, just say “matt damon”, and all of his movies come up!)
The roku allows you to stream 350,000 + movies and TV episodes. You can rent, buy, subscribe to or watch for free. It even has a mobile app!
SO NOW:
So we use currently use our free roku device and our cheap antenna and now just pay $20/month for sling TV.
WANT FREE TV:
IF you wanted, you could go even cheaper and cancel sling after 3 months. You would still get the basic cable channels and many roku channels free!
