3 FREE ONLINE PT CEUS SITES: APPROVED AND ACCREDITED
Below are 3 different places you can get free continuing education for physical therapists. I am a proponent of continuing to build my education and I feel like there is an endless array of things to improve as a physical therapist. But sometimes, you just cant afford all of these programs.
When I was a new graduate, I relied on these programs to help me save money and continuing my learning.
Non members:
Using this link, you can get 2 free online CEU courses without having to be an APTA member:

But heres how to find it otherwise:
IF you already are an APTA member: The APTA offers a variety of paid but also FREE courses for its members. To find the FREE courses:
Step 1: Go to APTA.org and login
Step 2: Go the “Careers & Education” Heading at the top of the APTA home page (2nd from the left), which once you circle over this heading will open a side box where you can scroll to “APTA Learning Center” and click
Step 3: Click on the 1st on the left heading “Catalog”
Step 4: Scroll to the bottom of the page to find “FREE TO MEMBERS”: There are currently as of 3/15/17, 43 FREE approved E learning CEU courses available for APTA members. Topic range from choosing exercise programs, improved documentation, an athlete’s risk for injury, incontinence and much more!
Step 2: At the right hand you will see a small box with “Take a free CEU course” and click. It will provide you with the following code: PTFREE17. Just apply this code at check out for a free APTA approved CEU course!
Today in PT provides 1 free CE course, unfortunately the list is often limited to just 1 course offered. Currently “Parkinson’s Disease and Physical Therapy”, a free 1 hour online course, is being offered.
I love learning but sometimes you cant afford the high end courses. The above courses are highly educationally, as well as free and quick to satisfy your continuing education units as physical therapists.
